Description: Excavation and installation of slide rail shoring at depths ranging from 15 to 25 feet for jacking and receiving pits. Installation of approx. 660 linear feet of 54-inch Hobas sanitary sewer in 4 locations. Lengths ranged from 110 to 210 linear feet. All crossings were installed using Akkerman closed face TBM and ancillary equipment in silty sand to silty clay soil conditions. Groundwater was encountered as well as multiple boulders that had to be split up and removed by hand.
