Description: North Star Trenchless, LLC has partnered with Jordan Foster and others on a TxDOT project that involves relocation of existing El Paso Water (EPW) 48-inch water line in order to widen State Loop 375 (SL375). NST scope of work includes pit excavation and installation of 2,836 linear feet of 66-inch and 485 liner feet of 54-inch Hobas direct jack pipe to be utilized as casing pipe. There is a total of 9 tunnels on this project and lengths range from 43 to 700 linear feet. Soil conditions are caliche and sand. Pipe jacking/tunneling methods with TBM are being utilized to install.
